Hamza Rabi
I’m a data scientist. I work on advanced analytics, experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning.
Most of what I do sits between measurement and decision: defining the metrics that matter, designing the tests that move them, and separating what actually caused a change from what merely happened alongside it.
Advanced analytics
Turning raw behavioural and transactional data into metrics people can act on: funnels, cohorts, retention, segmentation, and the instrumentation underneath them.
Experimentation & causal inference
A/B and holdout tests, quasi-experimental designs where randomisation isn’t available, and the statistics needed to read a result honestly rather than optimistically.
Machine learning
Predictive and forecasting models, from framing the problem and building features through evaluation and putting the model somewhere it’s actually used.
